  i was talking to a baptised friend, and they dont like the idea of me being on here..i told them that ive mentioned it to an elder and that a few know im here,afterall im heeding the warning .

  anyway, i explained to them that we are drawn out by our own desire,its whatever is in our heart....... hmmm did that come across ok???

  so what im saying is yes negative thoughts or comments whatever we are warned against can harm us but its up to us what we listen to and if our heart is right we shall remain in gods love.

  False teaching?? You mean human error.....ok :)

  Well ive given my reasons and you have given yours, you dont feel my reasons are good enough and im likewise, however i accept thats your view or opinion.

  just wondering if you can be in a jc for being on apostate sites.

  i'm not talking about if you clicked on something by mistake.

  does it say it in the elders book?.

  no not an apostate site hun...its Jehovahs witness.net, there are some who have been Df or who are still active and some who have just left....

  we are all here for lots of reasons, and yes the society does warn us but thats for our protection, becareful of smooth talking ones etc who will try to mislead, not everyone on here is like that, they allow us to make our own choices just like the org do. however some on here WILL try to tell you what to do..... :))

  Hi all, soz not been on much since yest but been major busy...family things....cousin in hosp due to being attacked...long story.

  anyway, Td, thanks for your comments, really kind of you Scotinsw thankyou too.....glad some people can see im just human.

  BC i answered that question in another thread....cant recall the thread,sure issaac will. But thats my choice just like you dont want any part of the org,thats your choice :)

  I definately dont think im better than anyone and alot of people on here know that,sadly you are reading wrongly into whatever it is im saying then. Ive never ever thought (even before being a jw) that im better than anyone, ive always been a down to earth non judgemental person....

  Have you Overcome Guilt & Fear Since Exiting Jehovah's Witnesses ?

  minimus had a great thread recently asking if any who were witnesses felt guilt as a jehovah's witness.

  thought i would build on that a little dealing with how you have moved on after being a jehovah's witness ?.

  one definition of guilt in the american heritage dictionary is : " self-reproach for supposed inadequacy or wrongdoing ".

  hi everyone...i have a confession to make, i actually joined 5mths ago, but never came back to the site.

  ive had doubt for a few years now.. my parents came into the truth when i was a toddler.

  no other family members are witnesses.

  just re read what you said and you say you have proof that he was messing around???? Thats good...surely that helps towards a scriptual divorce???

  He left you? Ok....so you havent got proof that he was messing around..but !!! If he isnt providing for you then the scripture says "a man who deosnt provide for his own household is like a man without faith"....do the elders know he isnt providing? Is he providing spiritually too??? Afterall he is the childrens father.

  you know, being brought up not being allowed to date until you were 'of marrying age'.

  Yh we were told couldnt hold hands lol in the end we had enough and spoke to an elder,asked where scriptually it said this....i wasnt letting any brother or sister start going beyond what is written and try to kill us spiritually by the immaturity. Yes we had a balance of course but please...some things were silly and the person/s needed to be told,and the elders did,they approached them and we were left to be :)

  Its ones like you guys on here that i miss at meetings, not the ones who judge "look at so&so late again" or "havent seen you at the meetings for a while" its them who never seem to get attacked and thats because they already do the works of the devil, they attack loving ones and push them out. It doesnt mean your not loved by Jehovah, and he WILL sort things out.
